Monday Night Raw (Aug 14): Top 10 Hits & Misses

2 Hit – BossTown

Has anyone ever beat Nia Jax so cleanly before on the main roster, let alone making her tap out. And in her home town?!

I expected Sasha Banks to go over by default but not in such a dominant fashion. The finish at least. Frankly the rest of the match was a typical Nia Jax match where she threw Banks around a bunch and she sold like a champ. Which is fine I suppose but it’s getting a little dull only because they are all exactly the same.

Regardless of all those negatives this was still a hit. Banks kicking Nia’s leg out when she was on the turnbuckle and transitioning into the Bank Statement put Sasha over in a way she hasn’t been put over all year.

I’m looking for Alexa Bliss to retain at Summerslam but this is the perfect time to start a really solid program between Bliss and Banks. The Woman’s division on Raw desperately needs a marquee feud. All year it’s been nothing but multi woman matches, damn near.
