According to former WWE manager Dutch Mantell, the WWE is currently for sale and negotiations with FOX and ESPN are currently happening.
During the latest investor’s conference call, Vince McMahon did mention the possibility of possibly selling the WWE Network to FOX or ESPN, but due to the current COVID-19 pandemic TV networks are not looking to make big purchases at this time. McMahon has not closed the door in possibly selling WWE when they question comes up on investor calls, but it’s more like a “never say never” type of answer.
