Some stars burn so bright that they burn out before their time. Sadly, that was the case for Eddie Guerrero. On November 13, 2005 Eddie Guerrero was found unresponsive in his Marriott City Center hotel room, he was pronounced dead when paramedics arrived at the scene. Just like that the wrestling world lost one of its biggest and most influential stars. Eddie was a former WWE Champion, European Champion, Tag Team Champion, and Intercontinental Champion, and was one of the most talented performers on the planet at the time of his death. Eddie didn’t have the physique of a typical WWE superstar, he was only 5 foot 8 inches tall and 220 pounds. Despite his small stature Guerrero managed to succeed in Vince McMahon‘s WWE, which is notorious for being “The Land of Giants.” God given talent and natural charisma was what Eddie relied on to stand out. His “Latino Heat” persona, and “Lie, Cheat, and Steal” mantra are among the most classic in WWE history. Eddie worked hard to become one of the biggest fan favorites the wrestling world ever saw, and 11 years after his death the empty space he left still remains unfilled.
