Randy Orton Reportedly Dealing With A Bad Neck

According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, WWE Veteran Randy Orton is currently dealing with a bad neck but it is not that serious enough to cause The Apex Predator any time to miss in-ring action.

Since Orton’s win over WWE COO Triple H at last month’s WWE Super ShowDown in The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia, he has not been placed in any storyline. Orton has worked a few WWE Live Events against Aleister Black, losing to The Dutch Destroyer this past Sunday and Monday in Binghamton and Glens Falls, New York but defeating him in a few matches this past June.

This past May 14th was Randy Orton’s last match on SmackDown LIVE when he competed in a Fatal 4-Way Match against WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor, Ali & Andrade. On The June 3rd episode of Monday Night RAW, Orton did make an appearance as he hyped WWE Super ShowDown for a final time before Super ShowDown streamed live on The WWE Network since that was The Monday Night RAW Go-Home Episode of WWE Super ShowDown.

There is no word yet on when and if WWE will be bringing Randy Orton back to the storylines for SummerSlam, but he was just announced this week to face Rey Mysterio at The WWE Live Event in Peru on August 24th.
