Backstage News On WWE’s Creative Plans For SummerSlam

It was recently announced that WWE may be changing their plans for SummerSlam, especially their top card plans due to the recent hirings of Monday Night RAW Executive Director Paul Heyman and SmackDown LIVE Executive Director Eric Bischoff.

According to @Wrestlevotes, any plans that were already made for SummerSlam could possibly be changed once Eric Bischoff & Paul Heyman start their roles in a full-time capacity next week after Extreme Rules. This means that Bischoff & Heyman will be starting with a clean slate going into one of the biggest shows of the year.

There is no word yet on what WWE has planned for SummerSlam but one rumored match was The Undertaker vs. Drew McIntyre. WWE SummerSlam takes place on Sunday, August 11th from The Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
