Lio Rush Returns On NXT & Earns A Future WWE Cruiserweight Title Shot

WWE Superstar Lio Rush, who was out of in-ring action for a really long time, returned to the squared circle during last night’s episode of NXT TV, which was the premiere episode on The USA Network, and defeated Oney Lorcan to earn a future WWE Cruiserweight Title shot.

The last time that Lio Rush was seen on WWE TV was this past April when he was the manager of Bobby Lashley on Monday Night RAW. He has reportedly been away from WWE since April due to backstage heat with WWE Officials and being unhappy in the company. It looks like Lio Rush’s return will see him work on NXT & 205 Live, as previously rumored.
