IMPACT Wrestling Will Reportedly Not Grant Killer Kross His Release

As previously reported, a few members of The IMPACT Wrestling roster recently asked for their release, one of them being Killer Kross. Now that his girlfriend Scarlett Bordeaux was granted her release, there have been some speculation that IMPACT Wrestling will also grant his release, but according to PWInsider.com Kross will continue working for the company as they are not planning on giving him his release now.

There has recently been some heat on Killer Kross, who also works as a Producer for IMPACT Wrestling, due to him speaking out against the company on a recent interview he had on The Wrestling Perspectives Podcast with Former IMPACT Wrestling X-Division Champion Petey Williams.

Killer Kross wanted to be released from his IMPACT Wrestling Contract due to a number of reasons, including financial reasons. During the interview, Killer Kross talked about how Scarlett Bordeaux was still living at home because of how little money she was making with IMPACT Wrestling, even adding the fact that her situation was much worse than his. She has even become one of the top talents in The Women’s Division of IMPACT Wrestling.

There is no word yet on if Killer Kross is interested in leaving IMPACT Wrestling to pursue a career in WWE, but it was reported back in September 2018 that WWE had interest in signing Kross, and that they were putting feelers out there to the big man. New Japan Pro Wrestling also had interest at the time. There has been no update or news regarding WWE’s interest in Killer Kross since then, but the feelers at the time were interesting as he is still under contract to IMPACT Wrestling. Kross also confirmed in a recent interview he had with Interactive Wrestling Radio that WWE did contact him after he first debuted with IMPACT Wrestling in 2018.
