Dear WrestleMania,
You don’t know this but you’ve been a huge part of my life since I was a small child. I’ll never known exactly when or where I was first exposed to pro wrestling. I have vague memories of being a child and having a “Macho Man” Randy Savage action figure that I loved to play with, but not much else to go off. What I do know, and what I’ll never forget is when you came into my life. I was 4 years old when my cousin put on a VHS tape that changed my life forever, WrestleMania IX. So many fans hate your 9th edition, and if I’m being completely unbiased, I can see why. It’s easily the most cartoonish version of you, and the match quality that night was honestly sub par, but it was the first time I witnessed your magic, and for that reason alone it’ll always hold a special place in my heart. Sadly I wouldn’t get to see you again for a few years, but the next time I did, you left a lasting impression on me.
