AEW Star Andrade El Idolo recently announced that he is currently recovering from surgery.
This was Andrade’s first surgery of his wrestling career after suffering a torn pec a few months back. Even with the injury he continued to wrestle until early October when he got in a backstage fight with Sammy Guevara which led to him being sent home by AEW. The backstage altercation was after they had exchanged words on Twitter, where Guevara accused Andrade of wanting to go back to WWE.
Andrade wrote the following:
“My first surgery, I can’t believe it happened. A few months ago, I tore my pectoral. Thanks god!I could and wanted to finish my match. I kept working because I love the business, but we know that many people do not value your effort. These days off, I took the opportunity to go to Dr.”
No information has been released on when Andrade will return.
