WALTER vs. Tyler Bate Announced For NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff

It was recently announced that Imperium Leader WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER will be defending his WWE United Kingdom Title against British Strong Style’s Tyler Bate at the upcoming NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff PPV Special.

For the past few weeks, members of Imperium (WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel & Alexander Wolfe) have been beating down and laying out members of British Strong Style (Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate & Trent Seven). One of the beatdowns led to Tyler Bate being put out of action, but he returned on a recent episode of NXT UK after Trent Seven was taken out as well. This would then lead to the match between WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER & British Strong Style’s Tyler Bate for The WWE United Kingdom Title being made for NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff.

This is the second-ever NXT UK TakeOver PPV Special and it is set to take place on Saturday, August 31st from The Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff, Wales. The PPV Special will be streaming live on The WWE Network starting at 3PM ET, which is just a few hours prior to All Elite Wrestling’s All Out PPV. The PPV Special has reportedly already sold out.
