Rey Mysterio Gives An Update On His Injury Following US Title Win

WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio recently took to his Instagram to reveal that he is currently dealing with a separated AC joint in his left shoulder. Mysterio also noted that he has been having trouble lifting his arm.

Mysterio is currently scheduled to be on RAW this coming Monday night to address the situation regarding his injury as well as the controversial finish to his win over Samoa Joe at WWE Money In The Bank earlier this month. The match was reportedly rushed due to Samoa Joe’s busted nose, which could be a reason why he did not appear on RAW this past Monday night. Mysterio was reportedly seen in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this week, likely visiting WWE doctors due to his shoulder injury.

Mysterio also noted that he has been doing physical therapy at The Lab in Riverside, CA and he hopes that it will improve his range of motion, which has been really bad since the match with Samoa Joe.
