It was recently announced by The WWE that at The 2019 WWE Crown Jewel PPV Event in Saudi Arabia there will be a huge 5-on-5 Tag Team Match where Team Flair will face Team Hogan. This huge match was announced during The Miz TV Segment that took place last night on RAW.
WWE Hall Of Famers “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair & “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan will be the two coaches for their respective teams with Randy Orton as The Team Captain for Team Flair and WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins as The Team Captain for Team Hogan. The other members of the team will reportedly be announced by The Team Captains over the next few weeks, but King Corbin was already chosen to be one of the members of Team Flair, while Rusev was one of the other members chosen to be on Team Hogan.
Other WWE Superstars & Legends advertised to make an appearance at Crown Jewel include The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, WWE United States Champion AJ Styles, Roman Reigns, Big E, Xavier Woods, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio & Mansoor Al-Shehail.
The Saudis will reportedly be holding 11 festivals and/or events in the course of the next two months in what is being called “The Riyadh Season.” The Riyadh Season will reportedly run from October 15th – December 15th and WWE’s Crown Jewel Event is said to be one of the events that will be part of this two-month celebration. This celebration is said to be The Saudis’ way to boost domestic and international tourism in the country. This will be WWE’s fourth big event under their ten-year deal with The Saudi General Sports Authority.
The 2019 WWE Crown Jewel PPV Event is set to take place on Thursday, October 31st from The King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
