Finn Balor Reportedly Taking Time Away From WWE Soon

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, SmackDown LIVE Superstar & Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor has reportedly requested some time off from the company. Balor’s time off from the company will reportedly begin this coming August. It was stated in the report that Balor asked for two months off and the request was granted.

There is no word yet on why Balor asked for the time off, but one source said that Balor is just looking to “re-charge.” Balor’s time off from the company will reportedly begin immediately following next month’s WWE SummerSlam PPV. This past Sunday night’s Extreme Rules Kickoff Show saw Finn Balor lose The WWE Intercontinental Title to Shinsuke Nakamura. After the match, Balor took to Twitter and tweeted the following:
