The rumored plan after WrestleMania was supposed to be for Batista to enter a feud with Daniel Bryan for the WWE World Championship. He was supposed to beat Bryan for the title, then drop it back to him at SummerSlam, before leaving to promote Guardians of the Galaxy. That didn’t happen though. Instead, WWE decided to reform Evolution and have them feud with The Shield. The storyline worked wonders for the “Hounds of Justice,” but didn’t do much for Batista. The most memorable part of that feud for him was another hashtag. At Payback 2014, #Bluetista would begin trending on twitter. In all fairness, Batista went with blue on blue on blue for his ring attire that night, but fans seemed to just be picking on him now. When it became clear that he wouldn’t be getting the WWE World Championship match that he was promised, Batista once again left WWE. He made his final televised appearance on Monday Night Raw, on June 2nd 2009, when he walked out on Triple H and Randy Orton. Most fans remember it as the night Seth Rollins turned on The Shield.
