In a new Twitter post, Dave Meltzer revealed how much WWE will be saving due yesterday’s massive talent cut.
According to Meltzer, WWE will save around $703,000 a month. He also mentioned that WWE’s plan of saving $4 million includes other expenses, like delaying their move, about 6 months, into their new headquarters in Stamford.
On the Wrestling Observer Radio Meltzer said that WWE was stockpiling talent to keep them away from AEW, but currently AEW will probably not hire many people. Most likely that is why WWE felt comfortable enough to release a lot of their talent.
