WWE To Hold The First-Ever Women’s WarGames Match

The women of pro wrestling have done it all from Royal Rumble Matches to Hell In A Cell Matches, but that does not stop them from achieving and doing more than they already have as it was announced by NXT General Manager William Regal during last night’s episode of NXT TV that The First-Ever Women’s WarGames Match will be taking place during next month’s NXT TakeOver: WarGames Event during WWE Survivor Series weekend.

The participants of the match have yet to be announced, but based on the events that took place during last night’s show, it looks like The Women’s WarGames Match will see NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, Marina Shafir, Io Shirai & Bianca Belair take on Candice LeRae, Rhea Ripley, Dakota Kai, Tegan Nox and a fifth partner, likely Mia Yim.

There is no word yet on if a Men’s WarGames Match will also take place at Takeover, but updates and information will be provided once it is made available.

NXT TakeOver: WarGames is set to take place on Saturday, November 23rd from The Allstate Arena near Chicago, Illinois during WWE Survivor Series weekend.
