WWE Backstage Viewership Drops For Special Episode

According to Showbuzz Daily, this past Tuesday night’s special episode of WWE Backstage was able to draw a total of only 97,000 viewers.

This total is down 12.6% from last week’s total of 111,000 viewers for a show that featured RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, plus the return of WWE Backstage Analyst CM Punk after having several weeks off. This week’s episode of WWE Backstage reportedly had the third-lowest viewership in the history of the show, going back to The January 14th episode that drew 84,000 viewers and the official premiere back on November 5th, which drew just 49,000 viewers.

This week’s episode of WWE Backstage drew a 0.04 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which is down from last week’s episode of WWE Backstage, which drew a 0.06 rating. This week’s episode of WWE Backstage ranked #137 on the Cable Top 150 list. Last week’s episode of WWE Backstage ranked #141 on the Cable Top 150 list.

This week’s special episode of WWE Backstage aired live from Miami, Florida for Super Bowl LIV Week. Roman Reigns and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) were the featured guests. WWE Backstage Analyst CM Punk was not on the panel on this week’s episode of WWE Backstage with Renee Young, Christian and WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T. Actor and Comedian Frank Caliendo also appeared live on this week’s show, while San Francisco 49ers Tight End George Kittle appeared via pre-taped video to discuss his pro wrestling fandom.
