Update On Rey Mysterio’s WWE Contract Status

As we reported previously, Rey Mysterio had been working in WWE without a contract. Mysterio and WWE have been negotiation for some time now and as of last night he still has not signed according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

Last nights ‘Eye for an Eye’ match at Extreme Rules against Seth Rollins might be a way to write him out of the storyline if he doesn’t sign. In case you didn’t see it, he lost the match, and also ‘lost his eye,’ but it is still no known if he is actually leaving WWE.
