The UFC sent out a press release recently that highlighted the success of UFC 196.
Numbers they highlighted included:
– An estimated 1.5 million buys for the PPV
– An estimated 4.9 viewers for the UFC embedded series
UFC 100 did an estimated 1.6 buys, however PPVs were $5 less at that time than they are now, so UFC 196 would out gross UFC 100 in terms of revenue generated.
