Top Match Nixed From AEW Double Or Nothing PPV

According to F4WOnline.com, the match between PAC (Neville) & Adam “Hangman” Page is now nixed from AEW’s Double Or Nothing Event due to creative differences. Since winning The Open The Dragon Gate Title, PAC has been committed in retaining the championship in his title defenses and staying undefeated. AEW wanted to present a sports-like atmosphere and had their own ideas for what they wanted to see out of PAC & Page’s Match.

Adam “Hangman” Page recently made a surprise appearance at a Wrestle Gate Pro Event in Nottingham, England to confront PAC. The two then had a match in which Page won via DQ. After the match, PAC grabbed the microphone and told Page “I wanted to hurt ya, to maim ya, to torture ya.” “And look, look! My work is done. So you can tell all of your little elite buddies, I’m not coming to Vegas! I’m not coming to Double or Nothing! And I’m not coming to AEW!”

The match from England will reportedly be released by AEW some time next week so that the fans still get to see the two wrestlers in the ring. Page will reportedly be having a new opponent at AEW’s Double Or Nothing, but the new opponent isn’t expected to be announced before the show takes place.

PAC may return to AEW for a match against Hangman Page sometime in the future, but no timetable has been announced of when that could happen. As of this writing, the match is still listed on AEW’s official website.
