Tetsuya Naito became The New IWGP Intercontinental Champion on night one of NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 14 Event by defeating The Former IWGP Intercontinental Champion “Switchblade” Jay White. Due to Tetsuya Naito’s IWGP Intercontinental Title win, this is now the fifth time for him to hold The IWGP Intercontinental Title.
