Sheamus Returns On Last Night’s WWE SmackDown

Last night’s episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown saw the return of WWE Veteran Sheamus. A Singles Match took place wherein Shorty G defeated Dash Wilder of The Revival. After the match, The Revival continued their double team beat-down on Shorty G until Sheamus’ music hit and he made his way down to the ring to a huge reaction from the crowd.

Sheamus then entered the ring and forced The Revival to retreat, but then turned around and levelled Shorty G with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus then stood tall and yelled to the crowd, but still got cheered.

Sheamus had been out of in-ring action since The WrestleMania 35 Fallout Episode of Friday Night SmackDown after he reportedly suffered a concussion. He has also reportedly suffered from spinal stenosis. Back in July of last year, Sheamus started making some appearances for The WWE again, but his rumored return never came into fruition.

WWE started airing video vignettes of Sheamus a few weeks back on Friday Night SmackDown, teasing his impending return and he also has been tweeting about how he is back to deal with The Blue Brand becoming soft when he left. There is no word yet on what The WWE has planned for The Celtic Warrior, but updates will be provided once it is made available.
