Lucha Libre star Rush defeated former champion PCO and Mark Haskings in a triple threat match to regain the ROH World Championship. That match took place in St. Charles, Missouri at ROH’s Gateway to Honor event. On December 13th, Rush lost the title to PCO in a single’s competition at the Final Battle PPV that took place in Baltimore.

Rush is now the 5th person to win the ROH World Title at least twice. Jay Lethal, Adam Cole, Jay Briscoe, and Austin Aries are the other 4. Adam Cole is currently the only wrestler to ever win the title for a 3rd time.
PCO had successful title defenses against both Dragon Lee and Rush. His title reign finishes at 78 days.

Nick Aldis had a role in the title change as he used the NWA title to hit PCO in the head, which lead to Rush taking advantage and capitalizing for the win. PCO is scheduled to face Aldis at Supercard of Honor.
