Pentagon Jr. & Fenix Reportedly Finishes Up With MLW

This past weekend at The Come Hell or High Water Event in Atlanta, Georgia, Cody Rhodes & The Young Bucks made a surprise appearance. After the main event between Pentagon Jr. & Fenix vs. Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian, Nick & Matt Jackson Of The Young Bucks made their way out and invited Pentagon Jr. & Fenix to wrestle for AEW.

It is likely that Pentagon Jr. & Fenix will be appearing at AEW Double Or Nothing on May 25th in Las Vegas at The MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Just recently, MLW CEO Court Bauer thanked Pentagon Jr. & Fenix for their time in MLW, who previously reigned as The Tag Team Champions for over seven months in the promotion. Bauer continued with, “Wherever you go next always know you both are 1000000000% leyendas de Lucha Libre!” so it looks like the duo is finished up with MLW.

According to Lucha Central, the deal with AEW is not exclusive as the duo currently works for AAA, CMLL, IMPACT & Lucha Underground (if a fifth season is filmed).

Although the timing of Pentagon Jr. & Fenix finishing up with MLW seems to be in-line with the launching of AEW, it may just be a coincidence. Both wrestlers still have multiple dates in Mexico and were at the most recent tapings for IMPACT Wrestling.
