Last night’s WWE Survivor Series PPV Event saw The NXT brand come out on top and dominate the night with the most wins in the first-ever head-to-head-to-head competition for brand supremacy between Monday Night RAW, Friday Night SmackDown and NXT.
There were a total of 7 matches between the three brands with NXT winning 4 of them. The break-downs of these 7 matches are as follows:
Monday Night RAW:
Wins = 1
– RAW Tag Team Champions The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) def. NXT Tag Team Champions The Undisputed ERA (Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish) and SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day (Big E & Kofi Kingston) in a RAW vs. SmackDown vs. NXT Survivor Series Triple Threat Tag Team Match (Kickoff Show)
Friday Night SmackDown:
Wins = 2
– Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode won a 10-Team Battle Royal (Kickoff Show)
– Team SmackDown (Team Captain Roman Reigns, King Corbin, Shorty G, Mustafa Ali & Braun Strowman) def. Team RAW (Team Captain Seth Rollins, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre, Kevin Owens & Randy Orton) and Team NXT (Team Captain Tommaso Ciampa, Keith Lee, Matt Riddle, Damian Priest & WWE United Kingdom Champion WALTER) in The Men’s Traditional 5-on-5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match
NXT:
Wins = 4
– NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush successfully retained his NXT Cruiserweight Title over Akira Tozawa & Kalisto (Kickoff Show)
– Team NXT (Team Captain Rhea Ripley, Toni Storm, Bianca Belair, Candice LeRae & Io Shirai) def. Team RAW (Team Captain Charlotte Flair, Sarah Logan, Natalya & WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane)) and Team SmackDown (Team Captain Sasha Banks, Carmella, Dana Brooke, Lacey Evans & Nikki Cross) in The Women’s Traditional 5-on-5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match
– NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong def. WWE United States Champion AJ Styles & WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in a RAW vs. SmackDown vs. NXT Survivor Series Triple Threat Match
– NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler def. RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley in a RAW vs. SmackDown vs. NXT Survivor Series Women’s Division Triple Threat Main Event Matchup
It will be interesting to see if this huge win for NXT reflects into their TV ratings this coming Wednesday night on their weekly episode of NXT TV and we see a huge increase on the show’s viewership numbers.
