Matt Hardy Returns To RAW On Last Night’s Episode

Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW from The Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois saw the return of Matt Hardy when he faced Buddy Murphy in singles action, but came up short.

Majority of the match went Buddy Murphy’s way and he eventually came out of the match with the dominating victory. Following the match, Buddy Murphy called Aleister Black out for a fight, but Aleister was one step ahead of Buddy Murphy, which forced Murphy to retreat.

Ever since Jeff Hardy suffered a knee injury some time after WrestleMania 35, which forced him and his brother, Matt Hardy, to relinquish The SmackDown Tag Team Titles, Matt Hardy has been out of in-ring action. Matt Hardy did compete in The 50-Man Battle Royal at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia this past June, but he hasn’t been seen since, that is until he showed up at last night’s RAW.

There is no word yet on if Matt Hardy will be appearing on RAW as a regular talent, but he is still listed on The Friday Night SmackDown roster as of this writing. Last night’s RAW was Matt Hardy’s first-ever red brand match of 2019.
