NXT Superstars Shayna Baszler, Keith Lee & Matt Riddle Invade SmackDown

During last night’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown from The KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York, a number of NXT Superstars made their presence felt and left their mark on the show.

At first, NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler jumped over the barricade and laid out Sasha Banks, Nikki Cross & SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley after Bayley retained her SmackDown Women’s Title against Nikki Cross with the help of Sasha Banks. Shayna Baszler would then stand tall over Bayley as she posed with her NXT Women’s Title and left through the crowd.

SmackDown then had a backstage segment where Cathy Kelley was interviewing Sami Zayn. Zayn would talk about Shayna Baszler’s appearance as well as an earlier backstage segment where WWE COO Triple H & WWE Hall Of Famer “The Heart Break Kid” Shawn Michaels appeared as well and said that he feels like NXT is making things weird on SmackDown.

Sami Zayn would then warn The NXT Superstars that they should stay away from him and that is when Matt Riddle & Keith Lee would make their appearances. This would then lead to Lee & Riddle chasing Sami Zayn to the ring. Sami Zayn would then attempt to punch Matt Riddle but Riddle would avoid Sami’s attack and nail him with a Bro-Derek. Lee would then nail a huge moonsault to Sami Zayn from the top rope to end the segment.
