New WWE United States Champion Crowned on SmackDown LIVE

Last night on SmackDown LIVE, Samoa Joe defeated Former WWE United States Champion R-Truth, Rey Mysterio & Andrade to become The New WWE United States Champion.

This is Truth’s second US Open Challenge. Joe pinned Andrade to win the title. Joe is a former NXT Champion but this is his first title run on the main roster. Truth just won the title back on The January 29th episode of SmackDown LIVE, defeating Shinsuke Nakamura.
