We kick off Raw tonight with AJ Styles. A match between The Usos vs Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson for later on is announced. AJ says he is tired of everyone, including Roman Reigns calling him a liar. He says he has been a champion all over the world. They don’t call him phenomenal for nothing. He is interrupted by Roman Reigns. Roman says AJ Styles has won many championships but he has yet to win THE championship. Roman says he’s going to do whatever he has to do to win Sunday at Extreme Rules. Out comes Gallows & Anderson. The Usos come out as well. Roman punches AJ, making him fall off the ring. Both groups have a staredown.
Dean Ambrose is set to call out Jericho later on tonight.
Sami Zayn vs. Cesaro
The Miz and Kevin Owens are both sitting at commentary. Both superstars throw insults at each other. Kevin Owens says he doesn’t care about this match and says he is leaving. As he walks away he attacks The Miz. He tries to take the Intercontinental championship. Both men brawl into the ring. Shane McMahon comes out and says this match is now a tag team match. Cesaro & Sami Zayn vs. The Miz & Kevin Owens. Stephanie McMahon comes out. She says she has a better idea. The match will be a tag team match but it is going to be Cesaro & The Miz vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn. Steph also tells Kevin Owens that if he walks out on Sami Zayn, he will not be in the title match this Sunday.
Cesaro & The Miz vs. Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn
Cesaro and Kevin Owens start the match. Cesaro gets the best of Kevin. Sami seems to laugh at Owens. Owens gets angry and tags in Sami. Cesaro takes Sami to the corner. He tries to hit him but The Miz tags himself in. Both men go at it. The tags seem to be getting harder and harder. The Miz goes for the Cesaro swing. Cesaro comes in and hits The Miz with the Skull Crushing Finale. Sami Zayn hits his own finisher on the Miz and gets the victory. Sami celebrates in the ring but gets attacked by Kevin Owens. Owens leaves the ring victorious.
Winners: Sami Zayn & Kevin Ownes
Rene Young interviews Chris Jericho. Rene asks Jericho what he thinks Ambrose is going to say tonight. Jericho says Dean is going to apologize for destroying his jacket. A jacket more important to the WWE than Andre the Giant himself. If Ambrose doesn’t do that, then Jericho is going to make him.
The Shining Stars vs. (Local Competitors)
Primo and Epico are now being called The Shining Stars. They squash their opponents and get the win. After the match they yet again welcome everyone to their Island of Puerto Rico.

Dean Ambrose comes out to the ring. Ambrose quickly calls Y2J to the ring. Jericho comes to the stage and wants an apology for Ambrose destroying his $15,000 jacket. Jericho brags about being a millionaire but says $15,000 is a lot of money and he wants it back. Jericho says Ambrose destroyed a piece of WWE history. Jericho demands an apology right now and tells the fans to quiet down. Ambrose challenges Jericho to a match at Extreme Rules and he accepts. Jericho talks about how he’s beaten everyone put in front of him, about how he’s the best in the world at what he does. Jericho says he’s not scared of Ambrose, he’s scared for him. Jericho is going to show Ambrose what a lunatic does and looks like at Extreme Rules. Jericho says he will have no remorse on Sunday when he gives Ambrose the Gift of Jericho. Ambrose says he has a gift too. A steel cage starts lowering over the ring as Jericho looks on. There’s something on top of the cage. Ambrose says he’s going to put Jericho in an Asylum. Ambrose talked to Shane and he said he could have any kind of match. Ambrose welcomes Jericho to the first-ever Asylum Match. There are various weapons hanging on top of the cage. Music plays as Ambrose cuts a promo on how bad the match is going to be for Jericho. Ambrose says Jericho will never be the same again.
Dana Brooke vs. Becky Lynch
Dana backs Becky into the corner and punches her in the face. Dana misses a clothesline. Becky floors Dana with a clothesline of her own. Becky mocks Dana’s flexing and the rest of her entrance taunts. Becky arm drags Dana. Dana rolls to the outside of the ring. Becky goes out to the apron and tries to splash Dana, but Dana moves out of the way. Dana tosses Becky into the barricade. Becky surprises Dana with a clothesline, followed by a running forearm. Becky hits the Beck-sploder for a two count. Becky mounts the top rope, but Dana grabs her in a fireman’s carry position. Becky reverses it into a sunset flip, but Dana sits down and pins Becky for the victory.
Winner: Dana Brooke
Darren Young & Bob Backlund promo video
Shane and Stephanie are backstage. She wonders why Shane didn’t tell her about The Asylum Match and says they should get on the same page. Someone knocks and in comes The Dudley Boyz. They all shake hands. Stephanie asks how they can help The Dudleyz. Bubba Ray says they’re here to help. He’s here to remind them a few guys from the Attitude Era can still go in the New Era. D-Von says maybe they can get a few local North Carolina boys and teach them a lesson tonight. Stephanie says they won’t be any little guys. Shane teases Big Cass and says they will have to choose which one goes against him.
Goldust & R-Truth vs. Fandango & Tyler Breeze
We go to the ring and out comes Goldust first. R-Truth joins him and they head to the ring together while Truth raps. Back to commercial.
Back from the break and Tyler Breeze is already out with Fandango. Truth immediately attacks Breeze and unloads on him. Goldust gets a tag and unloads in the corner too. Truth back in but Fandango helps Breeze turn it around. Fandango tags in and goes at it with Truth. They collide and both go down in the middle of the ring.
The end comes when Fandango gets sent to the floor. Breeze ducks Truth and Truth accidentally takes Goldust out, allowing Breeze to get the pin.
Winners: Tyler Breeze & Fandango
After the match, Fandango and Breeze leave together as we go to replays. Truth and Goldust have words as Truth tries to explain what happened.
Back from the break and Truth is backstage begging Goldust. Goldust says he told Truth he didn’t want to team up. Truth says those pretty boys got one over on them but they have to work out the kinks and try again. Truth says the WWE Universe wants Golden Truth, Truth wants the Golden Truth. Truth knows Goldust wants it deep down. Breeze and Fandango walk up, calling them idiots and welcoming them to the New Era. They walk off laughing. Goldust agrees with Truth and they hug, finally on the same page.
Big E, Kofi and Xavier cut promos on The Vaudevillains, who they will face on Sunday. Woods reveals a time machine that’s being hidden. They jump in it and go back in time. Kofi jumps out with his old accent and theme music. They time travel again and go back to a time where everything is black and white apparently. This leads to SImon Gotch and Aiden English attacking them. They destroy The New Day and the time machine structure. Fans boo as Gotch and English leave The New Day laying.
The Usos vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
Back from the break and out comes AJ Styles with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. The Usos are out next. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns makes his way out to a loud mixed reaction. The two sides face off in the middle of the ring before the bell. Anderson starts off with Jimmy Uso and Anderson takes it to the mat.
Jimmy catches Anderson and takes him to the corner. Jey Uso tags in for a bit of double teaming. Uso takes Anderson to the corner for more offense. Uso with big chops in Flair Country as AJ looks on. Uso blocks a counter and sends Anderson over the top. Uso knocks Gallows off the apron on the other side. The Usos stand tall as Styles talks to Gallows and Anderson on the floor to regroup. Gallows comes in with Jimmy now. Gallows misses a clothesline and gets rocked. Gallows catches Uso in a big slam, and another. Gallows drops elbow drops and covers for a 2 count. Gallows beats Uso into the corner and tags Anderson in. Anderson stomps away. Gallows gets in a cheap shot as the referee is distracted.
Anderson keeps control and tags Gallows back in. Lots more back and forth. Uso ends up hitting a corkscrew off the top but Gallows kicks out. They go to the floor and Uso takes Gallows down off the steel steps. Uso rolls Gallows back in as AJ approaches. AJ and Uso argue, allowing Gallows to drop Uso with a right hand. Reigns walks over and has words with AJ and The Club as we go to commercial.
Back from the break and Jimmy goes at it with Anderson. Anderson with a big clothesline for a 2 count. Gallows comes in and unloads with rights and lefts in the corner. Jimmy ducks a big boot and Gallows gets hung up. Anderson tags in but Uso dumps him over the top. Uso turns it around on the floor and sends Anderson into the barrier. He brings it back in for a crossbody for a 2 count. Anderson with shots in the corner. He goes for a superplex but Uso sends him to the mat. Uso jumps but rolls through. Anderson with a big spinebuster for a 2 count. Everything unfolds at the end. The pin comes when Uso hits a big splash for the win.
Winners: The Usos
After the match, a brawl breaks out between everyone. Styles tries to hit Reigns with a chair, but Reigns punches him in the face. Reigns beats Styles down with the chair. Gallows tries to stop him, but Reigns Superman punches him. Reigns Superman punches Anderson. Styles grabs the chair and hits Reigns in the gut with it. After a few chair shots to Reigns back, Styles picks up Reigns and Styles clashes him on the chair.
Big Cass vs. D-Von
D-Von rolls to the floor and stalls. Bubba, on the other side of the ring, pulls a table from under the ring. This distracts Cass, allowing D-Von to run back in the ring and attack from behind. D-Von beats Cass around now. Bubba gets on the apron and D-Von almost runs into him. Cass follows back up with a big boot, knocking Bubba off the apron. Cass hits the East River Crossing on D-Von for the win.
Winner: Big Cass
Kalisto vs Alberto Del Rio
Kalisto kicks Del Rio in the hip. Del Rio picks Kalisto up and sits him on the top rope. Del Rio tries to take off Kalisto’s mask. Del Rio locks in a rear chin lock. Kalisto tries to fight out of it, but Del Rio cuts him off. Kalisto surprises Del Rio with a flying head scissors. Del Rio rolls to the outside. Kalisto attempts a hurricanrana of the apron, but Del Rio catches him and tosses him head first into the barricade. After the break, Del Rio tilt-a-whirl backbreakers Kalisto. Backstage, Rusev attacks Sin Cara. Del Rio holds Kalisto up against the ropes and forces him to watch the carnage on the big screen. Kalisto manages to dropkick Del Rio. Kalisto ends up running shoulder first into the ring post after missing a shoulder block. Del Rio sets Kalisto up on the ropes for his finisher. Kalisto shakes the ropes, which causes Del Rio to get crotched on the top rope. Kalisto hurricanranas Del Rio off the top. Rusev drags Sin Cara’s limp body down to the ring. Kalisto lands a seated senton followed by a corkscrew springboard attack. Kalisto gets distracted, which allows Del Rio to hit the backstabber for the win.
Winner: Alberto Del Rio
After the match, Rusev attacks Kalisto. Rusev locks in the accolade.
Women’s Title Match Contract Signing
Shane and Stephanie are in the ring. Before Stephanie can introduce Charlotte, Ric Flair interrupts her. He says if you are going to introduce a Flair, you have to do it right. Flair intros Charlotte. Charlotte and Flair make their way to the ring. Charlotte gets in the ring and thanks her father for the introduction. Natalya gets in the ring and says she has something she has to says. She asks Charlotte what happened to her? She used to have integrity. She used to be someone Natalya respected. Now Charlotte can’t win a match without her creepy daddy. Natalya signs the contract. Charlotte says that was touching, but no matter what Natalya says the people will boo her because they worship the ground Charlotte walks on. Charlotte says she is done and this is a waste of her time. She is ready to sign. Charlotte goes to sign the contract, but she notices something has been added. Stephanie tells Charlotte they added that if Flair even walks to the ring Charlotte will forfeit the title. Charlotte signs because she has to. Flair gets upset and gets in Stephanie’s face. Shane tells him to back off. Flair takes off his jacket squares up. Shane says he has too much respect for Flair. Stephanie says she doesn’t and slaps Flair in the face. Charlotte takes off her shoes and walks toward Stephanie, but Natalya cuts her off and puts her in the sharpshooter. Charlotte taps out as the show ends.
