In the middle of the first season of Lucha Underground, Angelico became a huge fan favorite at The Temple after doing an insane dive off Dario Cueto’s office.
In a Twitter post by the executive producer of Lucha Underground, Eric Van Wagenen, he shared footage of Angelico practicing the dive while Texano Jr and Pentagon Jr looked on. He also posted another video of Ricochet, who used to wrestle as Prince Puma at the time, also trying the dive.

“Something for the believers! Found this gem from Feb ’15 before a #LuchaUnderground taping – @AngelicoAAA practicing THE crossbody. Needed to show MGM lawyers we practiced it – just in case. I was nervous, but he made it look easy. @KingRicochet and @lilcholo01 measuring he catch. … You can see how amped up he was for the real thing … overshot where they thought he’d land and almost beheaded The Crew.
