Lance Archer Wins IWGP US Title At NJPW King Of Pro Wrestling

This past Monday night’s NJPW King Of Pro Wrestling Event saw Lance Archer become The New IWGP United States Champion by defeating Juice Robinson. The IWGP United Sates Title Match was supposed to feature Former IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley defending his IWGP United States Title against Juice Robinson, but due to Typhoon Hagibis, Jon Moxley wasn’t able to attend the event, which is why he was stripped of The IWGP United States Title and replaced by Lance Archer.

This is Lance Archer’s first time becoming The IWGP United States Champion. Jon Moxley won The IWGP United States Title back on June 5th at the final night of The Best Of The Super Juniors 26 Event by defeating The IWGP United States Champion at the time Juice Robinson. After the match, Lance Archer continued his attack on Juice Robinson until David Finlay ran in to make the save. Finlay had been out of in-ring action since March due to shoulder surgery.
