Jon Moxley Wins The IWGP US Title At NJPW’s Best Of The Super Juniors Finals

At the recently concluded NJPW Best Of The Super Juniors Finals, AEW Star Jon Moxley defeated Juice Robinson to become The New IWGP United States Champion. This is Jon Moxley’s first-ever match since leaving The WWE and it was already for a championship.

Since defeating Cody Rhodes for The IWGP United States Title at NJPW’s Wrestle Kingdom 13 Event this past January, Juice Robinson has defended The IWGP United States Title on four separate occasions, this being the fourth. After a physical matchup, Moxley was able to defeat Robinson via a pinfall victory following the debut of his new finisher called The Death Rider, which is a high angle double arm DDT, almost similar to The Dirty Deeds.
