This past Tuesday night’s episode of WWE Backstage saw a huge announcement being made that Former WWE Intercontinental Champion John Morrison is officially returning to the company. There is no word yet on which brand he will be assigned to or any other additional details on his contract with the company, but WWE.com is saying that John Morrison is signed to a multi-year deal.
It was reported back in September of this year that John Morrison will be returning to The WWE after leaving the company in 2011. John Morrison has since worked for IMPACT Wrestling (where he was referred to as Johnny Impact), Lucha Underground (where he was referred to as Johnny Mundo) and a number of other wrestling promotions.
