SmackDown LIVE Superstar Jinder Mahal recently took to his Instagram account and revealed that he underwent knee surgery at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama not too long ago.
Mahal also revealed that he ruptured his patella tendon in a match against Ali on Saturday, June 15th at a WWE Live Event in Denver, Colorado. There is no word yet on when Mahal will be back in action on The SmackDown LIVE brand, but he did indicate that surgery went well and that his knee is better than expected. Mahal recently signed a new deal with The WWE that will keep him in the company for the next five years.
