Elias Wins The WWE 24/7 Title On SmackDown, R-Truth Wins It Back

Last night’s episode of SmackDown LIVE from The BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma saw Elias defeat R-Truth to become The New WWE 24/7 Champion. Thanks to an assist from Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre, Elias pinned R-Truth right after Truth defended his 24/7 Title against 205 Live General Manager Drake Maverick.

Elias was The 4th WWE 24/7 Champion after R-Truth, Robert Roode & Titus O’Neil. R-Truth won The WWE 24/7 Title last Monday night on RAW by pinning Robert Roode who earlier in the night pinned Titus O’Neil.

The closing segment of SmackDown LIVE then saw Roman Reigns help R-Truth to win back The WWE 24/7 Title after their main event win over Elias & Drew McIntyre. The main event saw Roman Reigns spear Elias then stand guard as R-Truth was making the pin. Shane McMahon suspended The 24/7 rules until the main event ended so that Elias could focus on the match. This now makes R-Truth The 5th & 2-time WWE 24/7 Champion. Below are a few clips from both title changes:
