According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program, Brock Lesnar is currently scheduled to announce his decision on who he will cash-in his MITB Contract against this coming Monday night on RAW and it is looking more and more like it will be against WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins at the upcoming WWE Super ShowDown Event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Meltzer also noted that Lesnar may return for the final Monday Night RAW before Super ShowDown, which would be The June 3rd episode, then Lesnar would be competing at Super ShowDown, but after Super ShowDown we likely won’t be seeing him until around SummerSlam time in August to set up his match for that PPV.
Since WrestleMania 35, the plan has been for Brock Lesnar to face WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins. It is possible that WWE announces Lesnar vs. Rollins as a regular match and have him keep the briefcase, but that seems unlikely. There had also been some speculation that Brock Lesnar will be challenging WWE Champion Kofi Kingston at Super ShowDown, but it is now confirmed that WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will be defending his WWE Title against Dolph Ziggler at the show. It is interesting that WWE went ahead and announced Ziggler vs. Kingston before RAW this coming Monday night as they were teasing Lesnar’s cash-in announcement on either Rollins or Kingston to take place on the show.
As previously reported, Ziggler’s return was a late decision due to Kevin Owens turning down an appearance at Super ShowDown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Owens vs. Kingston was the original plan for Super ShowDown.
