According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, even though The Toronto area in Ontario, Canada is locally advertising the rumored SummerSlam Match between The Undertaker & Drew McIntyre, that match is currently not in WWE’s plan for the event.
Last month, there was a report from Sports Illustrated indicating Drew McIntyre as one of The WWE Superstars that The Undertaker has shortlisted and requested to be one of his next opponents following his disappointing match against WWE Hall Of Famer Bill Goldberg at last month’s WWE Super ShowDown PPV Event in The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.
There is no word yet on who The Undertaker will be facing at WWE SummerSlam or if he will even be competing at all. Despite The Phenom being featured in a few promotional materials at this past April’s WWE WrestleMania 35 PPV Event, he ended up not even appearing on the show, but he did appear on Monday Night RAW the following night in a segment with Elias.
This coming Sunday night at The WWE Extreme Rules PPV Event The Undertaker will be teaming up with Roman Reigns as they take on the duo of Shane McMahon & Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred Match.
