A SmackDown Tag Team Title Match with SmackDown Tag Team Champions The New Day (Big E & Xavier Woods) defending their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The Revival (Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) has also been discussed to possibly take place at Clash Of Champions, but that match has yet to be confirmed. According To The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon himself has yet to approve the match for it to be added to The Clash Of Champions card.

A Singles Match between Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan has also been rumored to possibly take place at Clash Of Champions, but that match has also yet to be confirmed. Another match that has also been rumored to take place at Clash Of Champions is a WWE Intercontinental Title Match between WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura & Ali.
