Sasha Banks Returns On Monday Night RAW & Turns Heel

Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW from The Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, which was The Fallout Show to this past Sunday night’s WWE SummerSlam PPV Event, saw Sasha Banks make her much-awaited return to The WWE.

Sasha Banks made her return during an in-ring segment that featured Natalya talking about the passing of her father, WWE Hall Of Famer Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, and it being one year since the tragic event. Banks would initially hug Natalya, but turn heel on her in an instant and lay her out with a massive right hand. Banks would then remove the purple wig she had placed on the top of her head and reveal her brand new hair which she had coloured blue.

Banks would then continue her beatdown on Natalya until RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch made her way down to the ring and saved “The Queen Of Hearts.” A brawl would then ensue between Becky Lynch & Sasha Banks with Banks getting the upperhand on Lynch by nailing her with several steel chair shots and tossing her into the fan barricade as well as the steel ring steps. Banks would then leave Lynch laying on her back before heading to the locker room.

Ever since losing The WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles to The IIconics (Billie Kay & Peyton Royce) at WWE WrestleMania 35 this past April, Sasha Banks has been keeping her distance from The WWE and has not been seen. There were even reports of Sasha Banks being unhappy and waiting for her WWE contract to expire before possibly jumping ship to AEW. There were also reports of Sasha Banks meeting with WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon at times with a distinct possibility at the time of her making a return to The WWE this summer.

Sasha Banks attacking Natalya last night on RAW was reportedly done to write Natalya off of WWE TV for a number of weeks as it was previously indicated that Natalya has suffered a dislocated elbow in The Submission Match for The RAW Women’s Title at this past Sunday night’s WWE SummerSlam PPV Event and that she is set to undergo an MRI sometime within the day.
