FlashBack Wrestling Podcast is back with their 5th episode. In this episode Wesly and his brother Anthony Avendano take a look back at the career of Hardcore Icon, and legend Terry Funk. A member of the famous Funk Family, Son of Dory Funk and brother of Dory Funk Jr. He actually started his career working for his dad’s promotion, but started making his name when he joined the NWA. Terry then made a huge name for himself while wrestling in Japan where he participated in several hardcore, extreme matches like the IWA King of the Deathmatch tournament. They go on to talk about his career with the AWA, ECW, WCW and the WWF/WWE. Through out his career Terry Funk had several feuds with many people like the Junkyard Dog, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Cactus Jack/Mick Foley, Raven, Sabu, Bret Hart, and many more.
