Rapper Sexyy Red was reportedly offered a full-time wrestling role by WWE last year but had to decline. After making a guest appearance on NXT in May, Red revealed in an interview with Dazed that she was offered a permanent spot but couldn’t commit to the required training due to her busy schedule.
She commented on her WWE experience, saying,
“Rapping and wrestling are pretty much the same. It’s not quite acting, but it’s kind of acting too, right? Because when we go home and take off all our jewels and gold and remove the costumes, we then have to go right back to reality with our families.”
There is no update on when or if she will return to WWE TV.
