It was previously reported that The King Of The Ring Tournament will be making its return and it will start on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW from The Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The King Of The Ring Tournament will consists of 16 competitors, with 8 competitors coming from Monday Night RAW and the other 8 competitors coming from SmackDown LIVE. The King Of The Ring Tournament will start off with Monday Night RAW Competitors facing off against Fellow Monday Night RAW Competitors & SmackDown LIVE Competitors facing off against Fellow SmackDown LIVE Competitors.
The first round of The King Of The Ring Tournament is set to begin on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW from The Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota as well as tomorrow’s episode of SmackDown LIVE from The Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The second round of The King Of The Ring Tournament is set to begin on The August 26th episode of Monday Night RAW from New Orleans, Louisiana as well as The August 27th episode of SmackDown LIVE from Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The semi-finals of The King Of The Ring Tournament will then take place on The September 9th episode of Monday Night RAW as well as The September 10th episode of SmackDown LIVE both from Madison Square Garden in New York City. That is where the finalists of The King Of The Ring Tournament will be determined. The finals of The King Of The Ring Tournament will then take place on next month’s WWE Clash Of Champions PPV Event and it will feature a Monday Night RAW vs. SmackDown LIVE showdown. WWE Clash Of Champions is set to take place on Sunday, September 15th from The Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
