WWE Files To Trademark Original ECW PPV Names

Last Thursday, November 21st, WWE filed to trademark The “CyberSlam” & The “Barely Legal” names, which are two of ECW’s original PPV Events.

ECW Barely Legal was the inaugural ECW PPV Event, which was held on April 13th, 1997 from The legendary ECW Arena in Philadelphia. ECW CyberSlam was a PPV and fan convention that ran from 1996-2000. It was held at The ECW Arena every year, but was held as a two-night event with another show in Queens in 1997.

There is no word yet on why WWE is filing to trademark The ECW Barely Legal and CyberSlam names, but updates will be provided once it is made available.
