WWE Crown Jewel Altered Due to Rhea Ripley’s Injury

As previously reported, WWE has announced that Rhea Ripley will be sidelined indefinitely due to a broken orbital bone. This unfortunate injury has led to significant changes in the lineup for WWE Crown Jewel, which is set to take place tomorrow in Saudi Arabia. According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Ripley was originally slated to face Raquel Rodriguez in a highly anticipated match.

With Ripley’s absence, WWE had to quickly adjust the card. It’s believed that a four-way women’s tag team title match was added as a replacement, a bout that wasn’t part of the original plan prior to Ripley’s injury on October 21. This adjustment highlights the ongoing challenges wrestlers face in maintaining their health while keeping live events exciting for fans. The card changes come as a disappointment for many who were looking forward to seeing Ripley in action, but the addition of the tag team match aims to keep the excitement alive. Fans will be eagerly awaiting more updates as the event approaches.
