WWE Announces The 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic

It was recently announced by The WWE that The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament will be returning to The NXT brand in 2020.

There is no word yet on which teams will be competing or when exactly The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will be taking place, but Mauro Ranallo did mention during last night’s episode of NXT that details of the tournament will be announced on The January 1st episode of NXT TV.

The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic began in 2015 with Finn Balor and Samoa Joe winning. The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic then continued in 2016 with The Authors Of Pain winning. The Undisputed Era then won The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in 2018. The team of Ricochet & Aleister Black would then win The Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic earlier this year.
