Strowman Removed From WWE Universal Title Match At Royal Rumble

WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman has been removed from the lineup of the upcoming WWE Royal Rumble PPV Event.

There is no word yet on why exactly the match was nixed but it could be due to Strowman’s elbow injury, which he underwent surgery for this past month. The WrestleVotes Twitter Account recently noted that the match might be changed and that Strowman “is still not 100%.” As seen below:

Last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW opened up with a segment that saw Braun Strowman destroy Vince McMahon’s limousine, not knowing who it actually belonged to. Strowman had been searching for Baron Corbin, who was hiding in the limousine. Vince then originally fined Strowman $100,000 but Strowman argued with him and said that the limousine wasn’t worth that much. Vince then removed Strowman’s from The WWE Universal Title Main Event Matchup at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV Event because Strowman argued and got loud with him.

More information will be provided on Strowman’s status and his replacement to face WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at The Royal Rumble PPV Event once it is made available.
