Elijah Holyfield, the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield, has officially signed with WWE NXT. Holyfield, who took part in a WWE tryout during SummerSlam weekend this past August, is now a member of the latest class of recruits to join the NXT brand.
Before stepping into the world of pro wrestling, Elijah had a standout college football career at the University of Georgia, where he was part of a successful backfield and helped contribute to the team’s success. After college, he pursued a professional football career, having spent time with multiple NFL teams, including a stint with the Miami Dolphins.
Holyfield took to social media to express his excitement about his new journey with WWE, writing, “Future is bright!!! ??????”
