The NXT fans finally got what they’ve been looking forward to ever since Shinsuke Nakamura debuted. Last night at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe to capture the NXT Championship which you can see on the video above.
Nakamura has definitely captured the NXT crowd since the moment he debuted with his amazing charisma and strong style matches. As soon as he comes out, the crowd erupts and starts singing along his theme music. This is exactly what happened last night as you can see below.
The reaction of the crowd was electric throughout Takeover, but it was off the charts when Nakamura became champion. Even as the crowd was leaving you can hear them singing along to Nakamura’s theme music which you can see below.

Nakamura then gets interviewed by WWE.com where he calls the match with Samoa Joe special and one of the toughest matches he has ever had.
