Rey Fenix Reacts to Fan Post About AEW, Vows to “Speak the Truth”

Rey Fenix has been noticeably absent from AEW television since the July 20th episode of Collision, and many fans are frustrated by his lack of appearances. Rumors suggest that AEW extended Fenix’s contract due to an injury, which kept him from becoming a free agent when his brother, Penta El Zero Miedo, did earlier this year. Despite being under contract, however, AEW has yet to feature Fenix on television, sparking concern among his supporters.

This growing frustration from fans led one follower to take to Twitter and publicly criticize AEW for sidelining Fenix. In response to the post, Fenix himself took to social media to address the situation, expressing his intent to “speak the truth” regarding his absence. His response has only fueled more speculation about his status within the company and whether he’ll soon be given a chance to return to the spotlight.

The fan wrote:

“AEW not using Rey Fenix is fuckin WRONG! WWE sells out almost every arena they go to. They’re doing the best business they ever have. WTH does Tony Khan think will happen if the Lucha Bros go there? WWE isn’t being hurt by this AT ALL! The only one being affected is Fenix, and he’s the most innocent party in all of this.”

Rey Fenix replied:

“I will have my chance to speak the truth.”

I will have my chance to speak the truth.
