NXT recently held a Live Event that took place in Fort Pierce, Florida which saw Rachael Ellering (w/ Deonna Purrazzo) take on Lacey Lane in a Women’s Division Singles Match. The fans in attendance noted that Rachael Ellering hurt her knee as the match was taking place, which then caused the match to be stopped.
Medical personnel would then rush to the ringside area to check on Ellering. She would then be helped to the back. There is no word yet on the severity of Ellering’s injury, but Dave Meltzer noted on a recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio Program that she “blew out” her knee.
Prior to signing a full-time deal with The WWE, Ellering made numerous appearances for The NXT brand. More information and updates will be provided on Ellering’s injury and status once it is made available. Below are a few clips from NXT’s recent Live Event in Fort Pierce, Florida:
